Harry Potter: Next Generation Girls

It’s been so long since I submitted anything, wow. My interpretation of 5 of the next generation Harry Potter girls.

Top Row: Lily Luna Potter, Rose Weasley, Roxanne Weasley

Bottom Row: Dominique Weasley, Victoire Weasley

I would've done Molly and Lucy too but I just can't picture them properly. 

I don't understand why so many people seem to hate Victoire. I read a lot of fanfiction and most of the stories I've read portray her as a self-centred snob who hates her siblings and most of her cousins too. The epilogue hinted at her being in a relationship with Teddy Lupin, and I honestly can't see the son of Remus and Tonks being interested in someone so horrible. I've always imagined her as a demure young woman, a bit more reserved than her mother. She is much like Fleur in looks, with her long blonde hair and deep blue eyes. Her and Teddy are my favourite nextgen couple. (One of my biggest pet peeves is when I see Victoire spelled as "Victorie". I hate that!)

I think Dominique probably inherited the Weasley/Veela temper. She's fiery and outspoken but still gets on with her big sister. I see her as very protective of her family, most especially her little brother Louis. And though a recurring theme in fanfiction seems to be that she's an outcast and a disappointment to her mother (and to some extent, her father), I just don't see that. Though I do think she'd be especially close to Bill and in later years she gets a fang earring just like his, much to Grandma Molly's disgust! She has light ginger hair, some might say strawberry blonde (though I don’t like that term) and hazel eyes.

Rose is a lot like her mother. She loves books and learning and is usually top of her class. But I see her as a huge fan of the Chudley Cannons, just like her father. She has the temper of both her parents, and some of Hermione's bossiness. But she's not as much of a stickler for the rules and will occasionally help James and Fred with their pranks. And yes, I ship her with Scorpius. She has Hermione’s hair, but Ron’s colouring, with her Weasley red hair and blue eyes. She turned out looking the oldest here somehow.

I think Roxanne would be a lot like her mother. Very driven and incredibly serious about Quidditch. A bit of a prankster like her father, though she leaves most of the pranks to her little brother Fred. I imagine her the same age as Dominique and think the two would be really close. Her design is probably my favourite. She has a mix of her parent’s skin tones, Angelina’s dark brown eyes and reddish brown hair.

And finally Lily. As the youngest of the extensive Potter-Weasley family, I think she'd be pretty self-assured especially with the support of her massive family behind her. I see her as a lot like Ginny in personality, though with some of Harry's impulsiveness and all of his fierce loyalty. It’s stated that only Albus Severus got Lily and Harry’s eyes, so I gave her Ginny’s “bright brown” eyes. Instead of the usual Weasley red hair, I imagine her inheriting her namesake’s dark red hair.
